Jubilee of Youth 2025 - SPECIAL four-day event to COLLECT AND RAISE AWARENESS FOR BLOOD DONATION

On the occasion of the Jubilee of Youth 2025, from July 29th to August 1st , National Association of Fratres Blood Donor Groups (Volunteer Organization)

in collaboration with:
FRATRES ROMA (Volunteer Organization); the Transfusion Center of the Santo Spirito Hospital in Rome; the SIMT Unit and the Blood Component Production Center of the ASL Roma 1

is going to organize

as a concrete sign of the Jubilee of the Holy Year, promoted by the National Service for Youth Pastoral of the CEI (Italian Episcopal Conference),

a SPECIAL four-day event to COLLECT AND RAISE AWARENESS FOR BLOOD DONATION

at the aforementioned Transfusion Center, located in Rome, at Via dei Penitenzieri 13.

Participants in the Jubilee of Youth, estimated at over 40,000 pilgrims from Italy and 10,000 from the rest of Europe,

will be able to learn about the world of blood and blood component donation and perform this act of primary altruism which,

as a true human medicine that cannot be reproduced in a laboratory,

saves lives and protects the health of the 1,800 people in Italy who every day require transfusion therapies based on donated blood and blood components and plasma-derived drugs.

Voluntary, anonymous, periodic, free, and responsible blood and blood component donation is a little gesture, but one so concrete and powerful that it can change the world.
